What got me hooked on Skoda

Featured Replies

Hello

Whilst waiting for what will be my 2nd Skoda, I got to thinking what got me so hooked on the company.

I have driven a Skoda Scout Paramedic RRV for the last four or five years and absolutely love it, spending 12 hours a day in it. They never miss a beat and despite all the gear and mobs they bomb along all shift.

I have enclosed a photo of my trusty workmate.

Let me know your thoughts.

No photo of trusty workmate !!

They built a diesel with a GTi badge.... basically!

Fell in love on the test drive when the car tried to wheelspin in 3rd gear.  Marriage was consumated when the back end stepped out at the following roundabout.

If your car has been built (dealer would be able to confirm that) you can give Skoda UK a call & they should be able to tell you where it is. They were able to give me the name of the ship it was allocated to & the date of shipment. You can then track the ship on the internet.

I did that for my Octy - bit sad but when you are waiting it helps to know.

Your "workmate" looks a lot better than my sad PTS heap which I drove before retirement!!!!

I want to know the names of the whole crew!! Its built and awaiting the ship at the point of exit, three weeks...but i am not getting my hopes up as it was at Grimsby and was going to be the end of this week.

The reason why your PTS bus was knackered is because they, like you before retirement , do nothing but work. I sit around and then drive very fast...oh and i get paid.
