The nice weather on Satruday prompted me to do some winter prep on Mrs Pasty's car.

 

ok not exactly a huge routine but it was washed, dried, polish (ok ok i did the bonent and realised it was far to much work so stopped there) and then waxed, wheels were also sealed up and windscreen not a new coat of rain repellent and new blades. 

 

was happy with the results - although could probably do with some tyre black!

 

 

 

 

 

The fact I then p1ssed it down with rain all day Sunday and she's already done 120 miles of dual carriage way commuting in drizzle means it's already filthy again though.

Pesky winter.

 

 

I'd have done the Ibiza too but in all hoensty i don't think it needed it....

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did actually give it a wash late on Saturday afternoon - ever tried washing a black car in dwindling twilight? i can recommend you dont - that meant i had no timeto wax it meaning it's now covered in dirt and rain marks all over again.

I did the same this weekend.

What wax did you use? I went for some 1000p - should let me be nice and lazy for a few months!

I did the wheels with 1000p and the rest of the car with G3

given she leaves for work in the dark and gets home in the dark it'll a hile before i see if it's actually repelling the dirt like i hope
