What Track Days Are You Planning For 2015?

Featured Replies

Now the season is all but over, what are the plans for next year?

How Fast: What date will this take place?

National Meet: Will this be at a circuit again?

Castle Combe: Spring and Autumn i guess and will none Skoda's be a allowed in?

Dates for the diary, who is going to which circuit and when?

Get posting up your dates so we all have a chance to overwhelm each event with Brisky members.

That will make it worth the journey!

I am planning a few days next year, Oulton Park as it is my local, Anglesey as I have never been, Blyton again, Croft as I as I have never been and definitely back to Cadwell, that lot should keep me busy for a while, I might even do a sprint again as it was quite enjoyable even though most of the day was spent queuing for a 1 minute run!

Dates for Combe action days have not been released by the circuit yet.

what ever the dates are.... im game for the next open track day at brands!

Hoping to do a few trackdays in the Rover next year as I'm gonna take a bit of a break from the competitive motorsport stuff. Being trying to win the Autosolo championship for a few years now and keep coming runner up so I'm throwing my toys out of the pram and saying *******s to it. Think I need to stop putting loads of pressure on myself and just enjoy the car and how awesome it makes me look :D

Not booked anything for 2015 yet but I intend to do trackdays at the following circuits in my Clio:

Brands Hatch Indy (dry hopefully!)

Cadwell Park

Oulton Park

Anglesey

Snetterton 300 (maybe)

Rockingham (maybe)

Bedford (maybe)

If anyone books dates at those venues let me know.

Really hoping to do Castle Combe in the spring again, after not going to the day in September.

I'll be going to the action days and probably a Brands Hatch day also the national meet if there's track too.

I'll be sorting Combe out again this year.  Firstly re-inviting all historically attending people as a loyalty bonus, then opening up to all freedom members regardless of car, and then finally to the whole populous.

As said, no dates yet.  I also want to go to the Ring in 2015, probably around the time of the Spring Action Day too!.....  Could be interesting.

I am also booked on to a day at Rockingham on 7th March which is being organised by the Northloop forum (not open to general public)

Hmm I also quite fancy another 'ring trip! Went there in May this year for the first time and loved it, amazing place and great atmosphere.

I encourage any Skoda driver to come out on Castle Combe days.  Ultimate taster opportunity.

James, the odd mk4 golf might get an invite. ;)

I hope there's enough people to push mine around ;)

You won't be allowed on unless you can prove to the marshalls on the morning your car is roadworthy and sound to go on track. :)

Thats the ClioSport club stand screwed ;)

They probably don't go to Castle Combe for that reason ;) although to be fair, we have had the odd Clio in our sessions and they go pretty damn well usually!    We are talking 172 / 182 stuff though.

And to date, we have also had no serious issues with cars in any of our sessions at Combe.  I've gone into limp mode once, the odd other car has too, most suffer with faded brakes and tyre scrubbing, but no crashes to date.

May or may not have been watching classifieds for local ones recently ;)

Don't forget mine decided to split its sides and put tiny amounts of oil on my exhaust. :D

I could put the number plates back on so it looks road legal  ;)   It is a long way to tow it for no run out.

You don't need to show its road legal for Combe I think - as long as its "roadworthy".  I suspect the marshalls have seen enough sheds to know when a car might need more of an inspection than a good glance :D   Just give it a good polish. ;)
