All New 3rd Generation Skoda Fabia Road Test Videos.

The plastics look like they really will get scratched.

& as to Skoda Build Quality.

A pair of Media Road Test cars and the blue ones lights are already faulty.

It seems like Skoda's Publicity Department have been bigging up the wider, lower and extra space a bit much

and without much honesty.

If the 1.2 TSI is pretty gutless, then what can be expected from the 1.0 l Euro 6 Emission engines?

(Maybe my bad, maybe just the Angle on the Blue one and it looks like the lights are out, @21.05.

but oddly the green one is at the same angle, or was the lights out, and then later fixed.?)

This is a nasty looking Colour Combination IMO.  Something like a Italian Police car or a Taxi.

Skoda appear to be pushing the asthmatic MPI, a lot of the test cars seem to have this engine. Interesting colour combo but obviously there must be a European market for it.

Don't quite get the colour change options inside mind for the main dash panel and steering wheel inserts, while the climate and radio remain piano black. Put me off some models of Spaceback this mismatch, fortunately ours has the Sportpack and therefore its all in matching piano black. Although in this example the white and contrasting black inserts look OK.

Very pretty, but somebody should buy the road tester a pair of strides!

That's not the best exterior/interior colour combo, what's with the powder blue seat covers, I thought they wanted to attract younger buyers usually with babies and young children in tow, they'll be scruffy in minutes.

The Mirrorlink looks good though, at least the maps will always be up to date.

They will be the new denim look seats designed for the younger market; but maybe not with children already on tow :giggle:

Dealers can up sell,   'Fabric Guard',

Life Shine,

Mud Flaps,

Mind the GAP insurance.

Extended Warranty,

Service Plan.

Add it all on,

what is the most you can get a New Fabia to cost?

The same price as a Golf with that piled on and some people probably will

I managed to spec a fabia SE 1.2tsi 90 to match the current polo 5 door 1.2 tsi 90 SE

polo is £14260 (excluding current offer of £1000 contribution)

fabia is £15010

so many thing which are options of the fabia are standard on the polo (led DRL's anyone ?)

would love dealer to try and explain why by a fabia when I can have a polo cheaper :)

Think i'll be getting one of these steering wheel inserts for my VRS, same wheel so should fit.

Amazing how the colour and black pack lights transform the look over the first car vid in vlue

Skoda held an event earlier this week for journalists with the new Fabia, so more reviews (and maybe videos?) are on the way now.

I didn't see any UK video reviews from the Portugal event although Skoda Ireland have uploaded a video about the road trip this week.

The new Fabia ad is running on German TV now for the Combi and a couple of similar ones for the hatch.

@ 25 seconds,

that will be drips from the AC surely and not already an oil leak.!!

My Partner had her vRS serviced last week and she informs me that her dealership now has a MK3 in the showroom and a few others out the back in their compound.

So I may go out of my way, to take a look at the hardware in the flesh.

Think the colour in the showroom is same old Rally Green- sorry but not for me!

Shame that Skoda didn't take the opportunity to introduce a new range of body colours, to take it into the mk3 generation. Missed opportunity in my view.

Looks like the new Skoda Fabia has been made bigger (like all manufacturers' seem to do).

First glance it looks like the latest Peugeot, and with the badges removed, it would be hard to tell the difference from a short distance away.

Clearly the price year-on-year is climbing to the point now costing more than the typical VW Polo.

How the claim it's a 2015 winner is worked-out, it being only 33 days into 2015 ?

Only made bigger by the front wheel arches being wider and a Tornado line,

But Lower and shorter by an Ickle,

so actally it maybe is actually Smaller by a Cubic Measurement in the real world.

The Inside space is much the same, just reorganised in a different way.

Met Grey with black roof and black alloys looks best in my view. The met Grey is a relatively new colour introduced on the Oct mk3.

Skoda Dealers Websites and advertising is very confusing on the 2015 All New 3rd Generation Skoda Fabia.

eg.  This one,

Pictures of New All New Fabia, words & offers & Invitation to drive on a New Skoda,

but not the All New 3rd Generation Fabias.
