Just one thought.

Which car or 'What Car' other than the likes of a Unimog is not going to pick up on potholes as displayed or ruin tyres if you drive at them.

Will the likes of a Fiesta, i20, 500L, Clio, 208 etc just shrug then off and ride over them.

Surprising from this Video that the award was not 'What Car' middle of the road car, jack of all trades and master of none.

Keep the Diesel for out of town, the tiddler engine for in town and without passengers, and best go for the 1.2 TSI petrol

as an all rounder which is less good than a Fiesta that you can ignore potholes if you drive.

Another idiot reviewer who doesn't know how to fold down seats properly in a Fabia.. each time I see them put the seat down and complain it's not flat - I'm screaming Noooo.. you lift up the base of the seat first, push it forward and then put the back part down!!!! Numpty!!!! :finger: Then it's flat!!!!! :giggle:

Sheesh!

Tom Webster , 'Content Editor' @ What Car reviewing WHAT CAR Car of the year 2015.

Content to not do any proper research on the vehicle the magazine he works for made 2015 Car of the Year.

It sums them up pretty well,

Somehow they know residuals & reliability will be good even before any were in the hands of owners or even been driven in the UK.

But they do not understand how the 'Extra litres of Space' are achieved.

Anyway, the Volkswagen Group built them, so they must be good obviously,

or some models are good and some are so so.

She destroyed that beautiful accent with her boredom..

The one ting oy don't like abeeout the Fabia is where the feck to stick the key..

Really lady? Really?!

That's how the youngsters talk in Dublin these days !! Drink or no drink !!  To me - she doesn't sound like she has drink !!  (I would say that, wouldn't I ?? !!! :D  ) Apart from when she's approximating fuel tank refills on her previous car !!!

This is a "cool", upwardly-mobile, young, Dublin accent !  ( FYI  :-) )

There's a strange (even to me!) mix of a rural elements in her accent too - her parents are probably from "down the country" !

Edit: EdinKent : The boredom, I think, is to simulate "cool"  -- have you guys come across "Vocal Fry" lately ?? !!

Also - noticed - the shot of the Start-Stop button - shows a lot of marks on the plastic around the Button - looks like key-insertion vigorously attempted. There's also a Polish review (in English) on Youtube - and the Button surround has similar gouge and scratch marks !!

I laughed at those scratch marks!

If she'd just taken it a little slower on the verbal delivery..! "4.7 litres of fuel per kilometre."

Yes, thats really economnomnom! Feed me! Feed me!!

Silly review. Thanks for finding it goneoffSKion1, kept me entertained on a Monday-crap-TV-night..!

I liked the accent.

Take more than a dodgey accent to put me off that.. Haha

Not a Roadtest video,

just another example of Skoda playing on the Fabia R5 while selling in showrooms Fabia with no more than 110ps.

Rally Inspired & DNA and that is about it.  'Simply Clever'.
