Amundsen+ Destinations - where is the Skoda App?

Featured Replies

In the manual for the Amudsen+ that came with my wife’s new Rapid Spaceback on page 19 it says:

‘By using a web application that can be found on Skoda’s website, it is possible to create destinations……..’ ‘………These destinations can then easily be imported into the device via the SD card’.

I have tried to locate the app on the Skoda UK site but cannot find it.

As there is only one SD card slot can one card be used for both music and destinations? I would like to back up my destinations in case of problems.

The manual is literally translated from czech to english, Skoda UK are just a distributor and the website reflects that because its lacking a lot of the main Skoda site. You may want to try looking at Skoda-Auto.com which is the main Skoda site (view in CZ language for full site).

Thanks, I tried the main Skoda-auto but this only seems to show a mobile app for finding what seems to be the next petrol station! Totaly different to the statement in the manual, its not so much  'lost in translation' as very misleading! They are clearly stating that you can use their app to enter destinations and then import them into your car using your SD Card.

If you cannot do as they say I reckon they are in contravention of the sale of goods act.
