OCC Hoses-What are you using?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I am currently using clear reinforced oil resistant hose for my OCC install

I have now gone down the blue route and want to change these hoses to blue ones rather than clear

I cannot seem to find any flexible oil resistant blue hose out there

I can find plenty of blue oil resistant hose but will kink if not reinforced abd i can find blue flexible hose but will deteriorate if not oil resistant-I'm stuck

I've seen loads of pics of peoples engine bays with great looking colourful hoses so there must be some out there-Please could someone point me in the right direction

Many thanks in advance

Blue 19mm id fuel/oil hose is easy to source

Around £20 a meter

After that it jumps up in price, sfs or forge mate

Thats the style hose that all the catch cans on here tend to use :)

It can stay standard then lol

Its daft, i dont understand why no one does a black version for the ash price :(

I keep thinking of changing mine to black braid lol

But gets daft quick

With hose and ends id be touching triple figures :o

Forge 19mm Fluro' lined (Blue)

Thats the stuff i used. Dirt cheap. I did buy a kit with clips and T connector. Just browse ebay for it. I cant find it on my purchase history as it doesn't go back far enough.

Cheapest I found was hose for tractors hydraulic oil or something like that, bout 4€/m
