Will 17" Alloys Fit? 215/40/r17?!?

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Just wandering before I buy the adaptors will 17 inch alloys fit ok so no rubbing ect

They are 215/40/17 tyres on the alloys

To make them fit I am going to get wheel adaptors which also give 20 mm spacing too

Cheers

Jason

215 with adapters will be too wide and will rub. what are the width of the wheels?

215 rub with or without adaptors/spacers inner arch guard or bottom of wing on a lock if ur low

On a 7j I'd run 195/40/17. You will have no issues at all.

These are what I've got 221598285350 (ebay ad)

My dad has a spare set so I was just thinking of getting adaptors and putting them on

So with the stretched tyres will they fit?

Thanks for replying

yes they will definitely fit

How much will I be able to lower it if I put these on ?

will need to know the ET of the wheels (offset)  the width is 7j. Then you'll need the specs of your current wheels.

put all the details into www.willtheyfit.com if they don't poke out too much, which i doubt they will, then you'll be able to lower it as far as your coilovers will let you. unless you go so low that the wheels are completely inside the arches and you cant turn.

I currently run 215/40/17 on the occy spiders and have no issues. That being said the car isn't lowered.
