Boost Leaks And Finding Them

Featured Replies

Hi guys, my vrs smokes pretty badly under medium to hard acceleration and i'm sure i can hear air escaping somewhere, but i just cant fins any holes!! There's muck around a few boost pipe joints and some joints are pretty slack. Any tips on how to find the leak and/or sort the slack pipes would be great!! Thanks. Will

Could try new seals on the joints,or re pipe it with hose clips rather than the clip in ones.

Not tried it myself, but read on here get a spray bottle with water/washing up liquid mix in it and spray on joints etc,rev it up,if its leaking it will make bubbles.

Get a garage with a boost pipe smoke tester to check
