I have a 2008 pre FL VRS with Xenons and Maxidot.  On Maxidot there is no option for switching it on and I don't have auto lights. Is it possible to do ? Does it need VCDS to activate it?  Thanks in advance.

 

Yes..It can be activated with VCDS on a Pre FL car...not Post FL without light sensors though

Do you have auto wipers?

As it is a vrs I suspect not, but if you did it is relatively easy to fit a new switch to give you auto lights.

Yes.

It basically works on a timer system (set with VCDS).

I've got it activated on mine you need to leave the headlights on.Turn off car, lock and the lights will stay on for the programmed time.
