Hi, I'm looking for a part number for a scuttle panel grommet. One is missing from mine so I'm looking to replace it.

I just filled the hole with bathroom sealant, if you are talking about the hole to the right of the pollen filter housing.

Yep. Mines got a sticker over it! Really must sort it properly

Sticker was put there as a temp bodge about 2 years ago......

Must be a good sticker if it is still there!! Sure my sealant shrank and I re-did it a year or two ago....

You mean a wiper arm blanking grommet?

Dealer will have them for about £4ea

Isn't there two of them? Check the part number from the other?

They're both different!

One has a bend in it,the other is flat!

So, Today we started installing and wiring the radar sensors. Since it's the facelift rear end, we installed the OEM bracket for the 2Q0 radar sensors. At the same time, we installed the tow hitch. The mechanical part is mostly finished; the cables are in the trunk and all that's left is to route and connect everything inside the car. Coding is also required, of course. A few photos.

Hi everyone this has most probably been covered before I'm thinking of getting a stage 1 remap on my 2023 Octavia Vrs petrol . I've been looking it up and some people say I need a DSG tune as well is this true? any help would be grateful.

Hi all, does anyone have any ideas on how to repair/fix the weird mottling on the rear windows on the Octavia Estate? It looks like it was most likely sun damage after a product was applied perhaps. I presume the only remedial action is a bit of a cutting compound to even the surface? I've tried a few products for rubber and plastic care but apart from hiding it in a greasy film it never fully resolves it. Cheers!

it had the TV tuner like you got in the L&K MK3 Superb. It's almost bothering me enough to think about swapping (although Octavia boot is more than big enough for me). Is this something you really appreciate or something you don't use that often. My one concern would be parking up and watching TV for a few hours and then the car not starting. Is battery drain a problem? Is it possible to upgrade the Columbus in the Octy to get a tuner. And is the aerial in the front windscreen noticeable?

Hi, I have a 2004 1.9 AWX TDI Last October I parked it up as since getting it (1 owner service history) it has had timing kit and new turbo and then the dmf and gearbox needed fixing I was unsure if I was going to keep it but I think I might now as only 105k. Question is should I syphon the fuel (1/4 tank) been sat since October or should I add biocide and top up? Whats the risk and how realistic is it of causing damage if I just run it on the diesel thats in there and do nothing to it? @r
