Kerbed My Octavia

Featured Replies

Hi there i kerbed my octavia blackline the other day i was wondering is there an easy way of touching it up, or has the whole wheels got to be done. Thanks john.

Touching up is only a short term fix and it will not be the same again

It will need refurbishing to get it back to new again

Touching up the black gloss would never look right.

I've got two tiny marks right on the edge and I used a black touchup brush. As its right on the edge and tiny I've got away with it.

But ifs its on the face it would difficult to get a good finish.

Picture?

Wonder if anyone has managed it with sanding touchup and polish over - like a body panel?

Thanks for the replys, it is just on the edge of the rim is there any touch up pens i could get.

Hi I got a Hycote Colour Brush in BMW Black off ebay.

Applied with a matchstick cut at an angle - tiny dabs at a time.

For me as it was a small mark on the edge decided it was worth a go.

If it all goes wrong then a refurb would sort it out.
