Its actually really easy to do and rebuild if you have the circlip tool for the rears, took me 8 months to find someone with replacement circlips!

Very smart!

I challenge you to keep them that clean once they're on the car! ;)

Challenge accepted!

Have you done them red because its impossible to find the correct shade of vRS Mint Green in Caliper paint?

I really want to paint mine, but can't find the colour!

EDIT: Just found this actually, Traffic Green - 6024 isn't it?

Did you find it difficult to put the rear calliper piston 'o' ring seal in? I've got mine out but can't get it back in, it's a lot bigger than the hole it came out of and just seems to fold over :D

Wow, if you gonna do a job do it properly. Some nice fresh calipers there.

I found the rear calipers to be a total pain in the a** tbh

Try buying a new seal. Rubbers can swell easily with brake cleaner.as I have done this in the past. Not on a VAG. It was iveco though

Where did you get the rebuild kit from mate

I spoke to the guy who has them and he doesnt want to advertise anymore than he has due to being swamped and having a day job.

He did say if anyone wants parts i can go to him to get them sorted and i wont take a cut

Rebuild kits came from BigRed and a few other parts came from the guy who helped me rebuild them

Could you please spec those 'other' parts maybe ?

Cheers;)

Circlips for the rears, a couple of bolts i was missing etc.

He can and does get all parts for pretty much every caliper

Look sweet - I like to take the wheels off from time to time to both clean the alloys properly and give the brakes a good clean, never as clean or as shiny as the ones above though! They look top drawer.
