Question about aerial, powered or not

Featured Replies

When I tried searching I couldn't find answer on this

Bee sting aerial, its not amplified is it ? AFAIK the stereo itself has the amplifier doesn't it ?

Thinking of a DAB splitter, after several failed attempts to purchase a working DAB from dabonwheels (who TBF were very good with returns) I bought a Sonichi but it has no aerial !

For simplicity looking to try a autoleads or some such dab splitter, but they don't work with amped aerials ? Dont think Fabia one is amped up ?

Pretty sure it is the HU that provides the amplification.

I can remember a while ago reading on here about installing a new HU with DAB, and because the new HU did not amplifier the aerial/signal there was a need for an amplified aerial.

I am not 100% certain though I am afraid.

Surely the people at 'Dabonwheels' would have a good idea what you needed to buy in order to get the desired result?
