What is the Story with it.

 

Is it new, is it run in, or is it used?   How many miles?

2014, 3000 miles 1.4 petrol the chap has had since June

What does he want from it,

if it does not go right talk to Vauxhall, unless he wants to risk invalidating his Warranty.

 

Put good Fuel in,

try Tesco Momentum 99 or Shell V-Power Nitro and see if it feels better.

Do they share throttle input software with a Fiat 500?

 

There is a thread on here about poor power delivery on the Fiat due to delayed throttle responses allowing the car to bog down.
