Sat nav and blue tooth options in a fl scout with a bolero and no maxidot

Gentlemen

I've just swooped my black line vrs for a scout with a bolero stereo unit and no maxidot, what are my options for getting sat nav and Bluetooth without spending a fortune?

Thanks Shaun ( please don't use fancy technical terms lol only just managed to fit the phone mic on the blackline thanks to Welsh-kai-boy )

Personally I would be looking at a Columbus/RNS510 with a separate loom and bluetooth module that pairs via the phone, e.g. 5k0 035 730 D upwards etc or 7P6 035 730 J upwards. If you can find an Amundsen/RNS315 with BT built in that might be cheaper though.

Hey guys, Just wanted to share some of my positive experience with the 6 speed DSG DQ250. I wasn’t happy with the DSG behavior on my Octy because it was jerky between 2nd and 3rd and vise versa. And also between 1st and 2nd with light throttle. So I decided to check the DSG oil by adding 1liter and also check for leaks from the DSG filter seal due to some oil on the transmission which I’ve noticed while changing the engine oil few months ago. Hi. Had the car since May 25. Always been a knocking sound like metal on metal from the front suspension when driving over bumps in the road. It sounds a bit like an old worn shock absorber on a car from the past. The dealer identified and acknowledged the unusual sound but were unable to identify the cause. I contacted Skoda UK customer services who were generally pretty unhelpful. The did supply the dealer with a copy of a page from an internal powerpoint presentation which revealed that

Hello, I activated Smart Link on my swing 3 radio, at Skoda Octavia mk3 MY 2018, so I want to share with everyone how it can be done. DISCLAIMER: You do it at your rensponsability, is not easy to do, and you can mess things out, possible brick you device. Do it only if you have expereince in this kind of activity. Physical tools needed: Tool for removing radio 4 pieces, just google "VAG radio removal tool", cost about 1€. CH341A Mini Programmer, cost about 10€. PC/Laptop Philips screwdriver

Hi all, The other day I ground to a halt (on a busy motorway junction) with 100 miles left on the fuel gauge and none in the tank, and after filling the tank and driving another 100ish miles the tank is indicating full, the level hasn't moved leading me to believe it has a fuel gauge sender issue. It's always been accurate but after the recent spell of hot weather the gauge has stopped working. Would anyone be able to advise the correct part number so I can research replacements? Or let me know
