Steering question

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I need to get both steering arms and track rod ends replaced this month, and I was just wondering if anybody had any views on using Lemforder replacements.

They are on offer at ECP at the moment quite reasonably priced, and having already used Lemforder lower arms and ball-joints in August, I was quite impressed with the quality and believe they may be OEM?

Any info gratefully received.

Phil

Lemforder are OEM.

Lemforder dropped in quality in the last years, and they made parts all over in China,Taiwan....etc

I stopped buing their products and choose Febi insted, all parts made in Germany

Just had both of mine changed using the Lemforder from ECP - just remember you will need the steering rack boots (gaitors) when it comes to changing them as i nearly forgot and had to get them in a hurry  :D

I have the Lemforder bits now, thanks for the heads up on the gaiters, but I already had 2 OEM gaiters in the garage ready to do this when the moment arose. :)
