hiya guys am wondering if anybody knows which cars have the 2.0tfsi engine and 4 wheel drive as currently have a mk 1 vrs but after running stage 2+ power no what issues are like without a lsd and am currently considering a 2.0tfsi but definately want 4 wheel drive and the only car i can find is an audi s3 does anybody no of any in the skoda range or any others that run 4x4 with the tfsi engine

not really - probably due to the fact that marketing would be difficult as they'd show up the fwd two litre models in terms of performance. ;)

I'm toying with the idea of 'bossfoxing' my octavia into 4x4 but it's too expensive. I've got a high powered tfsi with an LSD etc and the traction isn't that bad, once moving of course. Setting off is an effort though

TBH unless you're going for mega power, adding a diff will be your best bet surely?  Its also removable should you sell the car in the future.

 

Or.. Mk6 golf R? 

Golf 6 Rs are still quite expensive (~£18000+).

I'll be keeping a close eye on Alex's progress. The diff helps a hell of a lot, but standing starts still aren't that great, there's no substitute for 4x4.

Pointless trying to sell the diff unless you've got a standard box to swap it with. The price you'd get for it is what you'd pay to get it taken out.
