Unsure if this is doable, had a bit of a google search but have not managed to source what I think I need, over to the experts!

My dad has a new Nilfisk washer that we use at his on his car. My washer is a karcher. We use my AD lance which has a karcher fitment.

Is it possible to buy an adapter that will allow me to hook up the karcher lance fitting (on the AD snow foam lance) to the Nilfisk washer?

Have seen a few direct swaps but don't want to do that as I won't be able to use on my karcher.

Any links/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly, hard to tell from that picture if the Karcher end fits inside the adapter.

 

Needs to be a female Karcher end to male Nilfisk.........

No, you unscrew the Karcher one on your lance & then screw the Nilfisk one on.

Sorry, yes I get that, it's just a case of screwing the Karcher one back on when you need it. It only takes a few seconds.

Got my Nilfisk and the fitting for the AD lance today.

 

Removed the Karcher fitting at put on the Nilfisk one. Seems to fit onto the Nilfisk quite close to the trigger section like this;

 

 

Is this right?

Does it work? If so then it's right

No idea! Too dark to try and foam the car! Just fitted the attachment to the end of the AD lance then expected it to attach somehow to the end of the washer lance but it seems to be nearer the trigger than I expected! Wondered if those with the AD foam lance and a Nilfisk could just confirm………

Thanks Chris. Probably just felt/looked strange as the karcher one goes at the end of the washer lance which seemed a bit more 'normal'.

What I like about the Nilfisk is the swivelable lance. It's fixed on the Karcher so the adaptor has to be fitted just in the right position. On mine this caused a few leaks. When tightening it to stop leaks it was always at the wrong angle. So annoying. One of the reasons why I'd never buy a Karcher again

Thanks chaps. Really useful. I noticed the swivel on the Nilfisk too Chris and agree it's far better than messing about with the angles on the karcher. Had a quick try of the jet washer tonight and was very impressed with the power given the quietness of the motor. I know people upgrade the hose but it felt quite good to me and was much longer than the old karcher one. All in all I'm quite impressed! Going to have a proper go on Wednesday or over the weekend.
