MK1 vrs with isofix

Featured Replies

I have just bought a 2010 fabia vrs but I thinking of getting rid of it for a 3rd fabia vrs tdi, But was wondering if the tdi have isofix which for me is really handy, im looking into possible getting a se this time round and didn't know if they have it compared to the early non se fabias any help grateful cheers.

Mk1 Fabias have isofix brackets as standard.

I thought it was a non cost option....ie you had to specify isofix when you ordered. So it's possible that some cars don't have it.

Some more info here, this links to an owners manual http://ws.skoda-auto.com/OwnersManualService/Data/en/Fabia_6Y/05-2007/Manual/Fabia/A04_Fabia_OwnersManual.pdf

Page 100 details the safety equipment on a mk1 Fabia, the ones with * are optional extras. The isofix has no * next to it, so I think it must be standard fitment.

I remember on the mk2 Focus you had to buy a retrofit kit for the isofix brackets, right pain to fit when the rear bench was in the way.

My 04 has isofix. You need to push the foam of the seat down a bit to get the seat in. All the other vrs I looked at had them fitted.

Standard on all Fabia..............my 2000yr build Fabia has them...........just lift up the front of the seat cushion, then pivot the base forward to reveal them just under the seat back. Once you know where they are you can then find them with the seat base down.
