Make sure you have "error-free" canbus bulbs,

and code it with VCDS. ( "tell" the car you've got LED)

I have the same bulbs, and got a warning... And it disappeared after VCDS-coding

I thought the numberplate bulbs couldn't be replaced by LEDs without a load of hassle in a preFL car? Sure that was the consensus on the LED bulb threads.

With VCDS-coding, you can hook up the car to a computer with a cable and change different things in the electrical system. You can also check the car for faults and run diagnostics stats.
