I am an expat Geordie, recently retired, and I have lived and worked  in the North highlands of Scotland for the last 40 years

 

Just bought a new "Skoda Rapid Spaceback Elegance 1.2 TSI 105 BHP", what a mouthful .

 

I traded in a Ford Focus, bought new in May 2010, that was rusting so fast round the sills and wheel arches it was frightening, our local Ford main dealer seemed to think the problem was the wrong kind of road salt. :'(

 

I look forward to reading more about Skoda cars on the forum.
