Well a week last friday i finally got rid of my old car and ordered a brand new fabia vRS (silver) and this afternoon I picked it up. Got to say i'm chuffed to bits and really pleased with the quality of it given the money involved. Unfortunately i've got to leave it now for 3 days as i'm off to Dublin but am looking forward to giving it a good run when i get back.

My only hope is that i have more luck with this one than i did with my last car.

Obviously no of you will ever have seen a silver fabia vRS before so here is a pic

PS: Out of interest what is the normal idle rpm for the RS?

Normal idle is 913rpm (or somewhere around there - Col aka. Neo_VR knows the precise rpm though.

Got mine in silver too, bloody nice car, only problem i face is with a 3 year old daughter, and the muddy shoes on the seat back, any ideas on seat covers, im UK based by the way.
