Osram Fog Breakers

Featured Replies

Just ordered a pair of HB4 Osram Fog Breakers from eBay. They don't seem to be available in the UK, the seller is in Hong Kong.

They are yellow which is supposed to be better in the fog. After driving 100 miles in the fog last Saturday I reckon I need them.

I'm a bit nervous about fitting them - from what I've read here you need to remove the wheel arch liners to gain access to the bulbs. Any tips?

I'm fitting yellow tint to the fog lights for this reason to see if it has much of a difference. Vinyl should arrive tomorrow.
It definitely works, though, my mates golf has yellow fogs. And they're superb in the fog. Seen a few cars with blue fog lights out there, which is so impractical and useless it's not true.

As far as I'm aware, you do have to remove the wheel arch liners. And turn the wheels to access one fog at a time. It's a bit of a pain.

Page 142 of the Skoda Citigo Manual has a "Fog Light Replacement" guide. Hope this helps. :-)

I agree with the yellow fogs better than white fogs.

White fogs just increases the whiteness in the fog/smog/smoke!

Going to get some yellow ones for my car too :-)

I didn't remove the whole liner. Just unscrew the screw at the front on the bottom and bend it back. Just enough to get your hand in :)

Get a hoover for all the cobwebs and a ambulance on standby, I changed my fogs once, I still haven't found half my arm
