Hi there all,

Had a real thorough search online about dump valves and DV,s etc. Learned a lot and wanted to check the type my Octavia has fitted. It makes an audible Pssstch noise when i come off boost. My car has a K&n panel filter fitted. As far as im aware it is the standard DV on there. Is it normal for it to make that sound?

Where exactly under the bonnet will i find my DV to check it?? Cannot find it to save my life!

The psssst sound you are experiencing might come from the K&N filter.

Yeah, noise it let out thru a open cone filter

Normal diverter will just have the 2 larger connections and 1 small

Oh dear i feel a fool! Looked again today and it is obvious where it is! I was looking for something bigger. Thanks so much guys
