Monte Carlo Fog Light

Anyone know how to remove the foglights on a monte?

Anyone know how to remove the foglights on a monte?

Unclip the lower black grill bits nearest to the foglights, there's a clip that attaches them to the long middle grill bit. Once you unclip that then just pull hard. Then reach through the hole and unclip the foglights and push the whole unit out. I had to do this last week and only learnt to do it last week..

Have a look at a thread i made about it, should be on page 2 or 3, it's called "Can't get to my foglights/drls..help :/"

If you can't find the thread mentioned above here are the instructions from the manual....

I've just noticed the OP. Haven't you changed your DRL bulbs Jay? That means you will have had to have had the light unit out, surely.

Sorry for the long reply guys!

Have a spare fuse ready when you do the boot one. :).

Also. Only some led ones fit. They have to be flat

I've got loads of fuses spare mate, amount of them I've been through testing the leds and the undercar ones haha!

and okay mate, I'm not sure whether to go bright white or to go red so it doesn't cancel out the red ones?

You know, it's that hard copy book-type thing which comes with your car and shows you how to do basic things, like changing bulbs
