i am going too be in same boat soon for an upgrade but my vrs at the moment has bilstein shocks and eibach springs.

too be honest the ride has not suffered at all, the handling is smoother over the undulations ( less bounce, less twitching from rr) less roll .

1/ Best quality suspension.

2/ Air Filter / Intake.

3/ Brakes

4/ Upgraded strut brace / ARB's

I think i have pretty much decided on what i am going to do.

Jabba Remap, probably the generic one as i won't be doing things like uprating turbos, fitting fmic and maybe not even touching the exhaust (noy til it rots anyway) I have also chosen the generic one because it gives less increase than custom and hopefully therefore the engine wont be pushed to the limit of its tolerances.

Lower suspension either by getting a vRS set up or some sort of aftermarket equipment.

Uprate brakes possibly just better pads, disks and fluid, unless i can get some vRS carriers and disks cheap. I have read a thread on here that uprating the fluid disks and pads will see me good for the type of power i will have.

Also hoping to get some bigger wheels eventually. Probably 17"

I am hoping to get the remap sorted in the next few weeks

Just a couple of more questions i have though.

Is it still advisable to get the dump valve upgraded with a generic map??

Is it possible to just buy the carriers from a vRS brake system either new or secondhand?
