On no, not another new car question

Featured Replies

Apologies if this is going over old ground, I have looked back through quite a few dozen threads honest! I have seen previous recommendations to skip the dealer "protection" and in the weeks before arrival of new car have experimented with foam (ok only demon foam) and mitts etc. I had a couple of days off this weekend and was going to seriously look at prep and wax but leave got cancelled :-(

My problem is I don't have access to an indoor space so given the temps and forecast wet are they going to pose a significant problem doing a good first job? Would it be sensible to get a pro detailer with workshop to do a new car protection detail and then take on maintenance from there?

If so, and if it is an appropriate question here, any recommendations for good detailers in Milton Keynes area. Spotted some via 'net and DW but suggestions welcome.
