My wifes mk 1 2007 fabia had a flat battery and when up and running again the radio just displays 'SAFE'. I have searched on here and am aware I need to enter the code and it should be in the manual. We have all the original documentation (as far as I can tell) but cannot find this code. Can anyone direct me to where it is?

There is no code, turn the engine on and leave it saying code and it should automatically turn on

Thanks. What am i doing wrong then? when you turn the radio on it says 'safe', this then flashes for a while before displaying '1000'. How long would i need to leave it on? driven 80 miles today and it still wont work.

Mine did the same but just started working again after a few cycles of turning the ignition on and off in normal use of the car.
