Some bum head has reversed into my car at some point today :( luckily the damage is minimal. I now have a nice bent number plate with a ball shaped ding in it. Looks like a towbar has done the damage but the number plate carrier seems to have absorbed most of the impact. New plate in the new year.

Arsewipes....sounds like the damage is limited though which is at least one positive. For the minute as long as its readable its legal should be fine for now ?

It's a pressed metal plate so other than the ding it's fine and readable. May take a hammer to it at the weekend.

Sounds good, having practically repaired that quite nasty door panel damage by myself (no dent repair puller or expert needed) its just down to the right frame of mind and just the right amount of effort - good luck !
