Frightening isn't it ?!

There can't be many cars where you can more than double the power output without fitting a new engine first. Must be very strong.

Like everyone else here I wouldn't complain about more power, but I don't think I'd get much benefit out of 300+ bhp on my daily commute ;)

Well the same basic engine has been used to great effect in the Formula Palmer Audi Cars for some time - they push around the 380bhp -- and they havent lost one yet -- don't have to rebuild them after every race either.

One of our apprentices has just come back from a jolly at palmersports bedford autodrome, the first car's they got to drive where the x formula palmer cars -- he said they were abs fantastic, but then he got to go in caterham's,evo's.scooby's,clio cup cars -- and his personal fave the Palmer JP1 -- if anyone doesnt know what this is -- it looks like a Le-Man car -- runs a full race suspension/ body uses a Jag 3.0V6 and goes like the proverbial off the shovel -- mainly due to the fact that it ways about as much as a copy of the SUN!!

one & all

certainly not bored with the power its just that i read a post where a golf gave a skud a bit a of kicking & we can,t have that. it shows these engines can take a vast amount of tuning.

its becoming a toss-up between next years hoilday or a visit to jabba.......can i be that selfish..errrrrrrr:D

regds ect:cool:

Unfortunately the Golf in question ran an entirent different engine than it was delivered from the factory with.
