Hello got a Mk 1 Fabia vrs , the central locking has started playing up .It keeps unlocking then after a while both windows at the front open. I came to the car last night both windows down and it had been rain so one wet car inside. Anyone got any ideas as I can't use the car .

Anyone any idea's without taking out the centre locking fuse ?

I might be wrong but sounds like a door barrel worn . If you remove the door barrel do them one at a time see if the microswitch has moved from the vertical position. If so put it in the vertical position and fix your barrel issues.

Thanks for getting back Flapper jack, I don't think it's the barrel as I only used it a dozen times in ten years. I have now taken out the centre locking fuse but the boot will not lock. The relay under the steering is clicking like mad when the fuse was in so not if that's the problem ?

If the microswitch's are both in the vertical position then the next thing worth looking at is the wiring on the door a pillar wiring. Most likely osf carefully remove the rubber have a look for worn chafing wiring.
