Rear Wiper Arm

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So, somebody decided to vandalise my Fabia by ripping of the rear wiper arm.  There's still a stub so I'm assuming that the mechanism still works, but the arm will certainly need to be replaced.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement wiper arm, and what tools I will need to replace it? I'd preferably source one from a shop as I have a long drive ahead of me on Christmas Eve and if I order online I doubt it'll get here on time.  I live in Liverpool.

Many thanks!

Neil

Do you mean the Arm that is held on by the Nut is broken right off.?

Just the Blade is £8.09 from a Skoda Dealer,

so you best check out what they say on the arm.

Hi goneoffSKi,

The entire arm has been ripped off, causing it to snap near to where it meets the nut, leaving a round stub.

adamal, thank you for the offer, but I'm not sure whether that will fit my car and I wouldn't want to pay for the arm/next day delivery only to find that it's not the correct part.

Ok no worries.  Offer remains if you get no joy with the part being immediately available at the dealer.

Just looked it up and the part number for a Mk2 Fabia arm is 6Q6 955 707 C if it helps.  (Incidentally it is very similar to the part number on this Polo one - 6R6 955 707 B - maybe if someone can provide a measurement from a Mk2 Fab it may be an option).
