Injector Question

Featured Replies

So I had an Injector replaced a few months ago , and was told that I had another on the way out as the car jerks every time I hit 2k revs especially if im on the motorway going up hills. So I was looking at replacing all 4 in one go as there are a couple of options for 4 on ebay at the moment. Are Injectors easily replaced or is it best left to the professionals, all so the reason im looking at replacing all 4 is the car is near 200,000 miles and from what I read its better to change all 4 rather than 1 at a time,  something to do with the way they come of the production line. And another reason I dont know if it has anything to do with it but the car is a bit Jekyl and Hyde, one day I will get in it and its like a rocket, next it can be a bit sluggish, probably not related.

Should mention its a vrs with a asz engine,

Thanks in advance....

steve opc on here has some up soon I think.

has the loom been replaced?, I assume it would have been done the first time you had an injector done?

there is a video I found the other day on how to do remove injectors yourself, which to be honest made it look an achievable job, will try and find it for you.

i got a full set available soon coming out of my engine
