Columbus media problem

Featured Replies

I have a Columbus and it has suddenly lost all the media. You press the button and it says no medium available. Before Bluetooth and everything worked.

Tried a factory reset on just the media and no change any ideas please.

Stuck with no music :(

All the rest of the Columbus works perfectly sat nav etc

Thanks if you can help my 1000 mile trip with no good music

Is the sat nav working off a map disc or maps loaded to the hard drive?  And are you saying BT is not working either?

Maps on hdd, bt on phone fine just no media at all

It doesn't sound like a hard drive issue at least then. Have you tried music on an SD card?

Does that mean everything worked fine, and then you installed Bluetooth and suddenly no media available?

No not tried sd card. Do they have to be MP3 ?

The one in mine is.

Yes mp3 files. This is a new one on me but be potentially relevant to see if an SD card with mp3s works.

The CD is now working and aux but anyone suffered with this no bluetooth audio.

I have tried to re pair and check bluetooth settings and all fine. All else perfect but no bluetooth music my phone does not even show in tunes the option like it used to.

Could my phone be the problem?

Any help appreciated as aux is doing my head in !!!!

Have you ticked to allow streaming in the setup screen for media?

Yes, i unlinked my phone loads and relinked and it now plays the music but no longer says song name. I was a bit dumb and no cd in the player so that was my fault.
