Issues driving on a dodgy wheel bearing?

Flex Plus??

Don't know what that is but I get decent recovery with my co-op current account.  Already tried and tested on my Dad's missus' old BMW which packed up on me on the M6 (policy covers what I am driving, not what I own :))

Its the Nationwide AVA which has personal breakdown, the company I work for underwrites the policy

Just been out to check and no play in the wheels at all - absolutely nothing.  What I did notice was the rear calipers on both sides, more so on the nearside, were slightly grabbing at the brake disc.  I am wondering if I should get new rear calipers too....  I would say after a full spin of the N/S/R wheel, it was being "braked" within 4 turns to a stop....

Interference fit bearings are less likely to show play, so if you've got one roller that's got surface abrasion, making it grumble, you might not easily detect it rolling the wheel around by hand.  You'd be very unlucky for anything to go wrong without a significantly increased audible warning - in my opinion.  I did a lot of miles on a Honda withe grumbly NSF bearing.  Took the hub to my local garage and when they pressed the old bearing out, they separated.  We were quite surprised at how good a condition the bearings were in, given the noise level.

If you think they're grabbing, have you got enough time to swing the calliper up, wind the piston back in and clean up the carrier? - might free things up for a bit.

Well, I did my trip (about 500 miles in total I reckon) and no dramas apart from the bloody droning noise making motorways not much fun....

Have ordered two bearings, although I think it's only the OSR grumbling as I noticed the tone deepening when going around a left hand corner at fair pace.  Best change both anyway....

Still no play in the wheels either.  They must give good audible warning of failure before they do properly give up.
