Mk1 Fabia Convenience System

Featured Replies

Im messing around with a set of Mk1 Fabia clocks, and it looks like the back light (switched on when the headlights are switched on) is triggered possibly by the Convenience System CAN bus, does anyone know if its possible to program the dials (via VCDS) to permanently switch them lights on?

So that the dials are always lit?

If not run an ign live to the dials? With separate bulb wires?

Afraid not Taylor,

However find someone with VAG-Commander and apparently it is possible to re-write the coding to make it possible

(if you do find someone then let me know as its something I want doing on the Edition 100)
