Or it could be me being stupid

 

The interior door button for locking / unlocking. If I press to lock the doors, it locks them, if I press to unlock the doors, it does not (nothing, no sound of a solenoid or anything). Same for the passengers door to, checked with VCDS and no fault codes.

 

So am I missing something obvious, is there a VCDS setting that I missed for the button to unlock the doors. Door's unlock fine using the handle's, and are fine on both remote's.

 

Any idea's chaps (and Chapesses)

Broken wire in the loom where it hinges when the door is opened and closed?

Faulty switch?

Does the lock/unlock switch on the passenger door work?

No, passenger door is identical as I mentioned  

 

You can lock the doors using drivers / passengers if you press the rocker down to the lock position, but neither of them will unlock the doors if you push the rocker up to the unlock position, which lead's me to think it may be a coding issue somewhere.

Push and hold for 5/10 seconds

That worked my previous superb TSI this was instant though, so there must be a way to change the delay in vcds. Thanks Chris.

Ps takes about 20 seconds though on mine.

Just an update on this, turned out to be 2 faulty switches, swapped out by the dealer and all works as it should do now.
