Suspension- what shoud I do?

Featured Replies

If you are paying to have them fitted, have the springs done and then realise you want the shocks then it's going to cost you twice.

Plus the standard dampers will wear out much quicker with mismatched uprated springs! Personally, I'd save up and get matched uprated dampers and then get them both fitted together :D

Would also recommend getting the tracking done regardless of which lowering option you go for.... :D

The tracking will be getting done

I am a bit concerned about fitting springs only. I did the same with my Punto, the ride was horrible and the springs clicked and clunked. But these were naff GMAX springs on no-good basic Fiat dampers. At least the vRS's dampers are a bit more uprated (I hope lol)

If it turns out the springs are no good on their own, doesnt matter- i'll buy the dampers and fit them

vRS Eibach springs and koni dampers.

"sway bar" is american for an antiroll bar.

Personally I wouldnt change the front anti roll bar on the vRS until something was availalbe for the rear also. Stiffening up the front end with a thicker ARB will create more understeer which the Fabia has plenty of to start with anyhow.

I knew there was something diifferent about it and it wasn't a full Eibach setup.

I think its the ET33 offset wheels, when i put them on I knew they suited it straight away.
