Hi folks,

My rear demister has stopped working. I've checked the fuse and it's fine. Is there anything else I should check?

It may sound silly, but are you sure you actually did check the right fuse?

I say that because Skoda are notorious for putting fuse boxes upside down and left to right when they should be right to left.

The fuse values, however, are correct.

If it was me, I'd be pulling all the fuses of the correct value to see if these is a blown one somewhere else.

Is the hatch closed properly? 

The rear wiper wont work if it isn't as I suspect there is a negative circuit test in the electronics that only works with it shut properly and that will probably apply to the screen heater as well.

Check the icon on the dash isn't showing as the hatch all white.

Yeah, the fuse is the only 25 amp one in the dash panel.

I'm sure the boot is closed properly but i'll check the dash when I go out later.
