Help needed

Hi all.

Just noticed a thin smoke going across the bottom of my windscreen.

Was driving for about half an hour and I only noticed as I was pulling into a parking space.

Any suggestions as to what to look for would be great as have a 200 mile journey home on Sunday.

prob just steam from water getting on to something warm.

Skoda Scala slave cylinder locaton for 1.0 model

Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

2017 octavia 2.0 tdi . smoke from exhaust, whistling noise from turbo, burning oil. smoke looks whiteish/blueish. turbo pipes all ok. burning alot of oil. no fault codes or eml lights. only light on dash is orange oil can light

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. My brand new superb has a software failure : Side assist unavailable Lane assist unavailable Front assist unavailable Travel assist unavailable Protective occupant unavailable Dynamic sign unavailable Dynamic cornering light unavailable it has only done10 miles and am told there is no fix as of yet and has been in the dealership since I picked it up 5 weeks ago. anyone else have this problem?
