Hi folks, well Happy Christmas.

 

I've had all four of my white Fabia vRS Gigaro's stolen from my lock-up - location is near Rochester in Kent. They were in there being stored as got steels and winters on at the moment. Two have Conti Sport 2's on two have Dunlop Sport Maxx's on - bit of light kerbing on all, one has a slight nick down to the metal on a spoke.

 

Utter long shot but if anyone sees them being sold, can you let me or Kent Police know, cheers.

Sorry to hear about that. Have you put it on Facebook too? Worth trying to make the wheels to hot to shift

Not sure where I would post it on FB. I'm gutted, priced it up and looking at just under £1100 to replace with new ones and reasonable tyres.

 

I'd advise all storing their alloys to at least stick a cable and lock round them!

store mine in the loft, in tyre bags. can't trust any feckers.

 

Will look out for them on eBay, get a picture up if you have one especially the herbed one

not your wheels but may be of use as localish and will probably get them for £400

Cheers Ant, they'd need refurbing and respraying so not that much in it between them and brand new.  I can wait until Spring for replacements, not got pictures sadly.

I think you might well find 4 like new Gigaro wheels and good tyres that are take offs and not knock off for under £600.

check your contents insurance, but must have a police report number to claim,

seems like a good idea to chain and padlock (heavy duty) to foil those

deckers.

 just 'For Sales' in Briskoda.    Maybe try a Wanted ad.

if replacing wheels be aware might be buckled, as i bought a an alloy that had been run flat!

 

Seller knew but kept it quite.

Also consider them scumbags coming back for your replacement set. Many year's ago a neighbour of mine had his wheels stolen from his fairly new Peugeot 205 gti. Insurance paid out for a brand new set of wheels and tyre's and 3 weeks later same thing happened.

Not going to replace until late spring as got winters on at the moment, but sticking extra locks on the garage door this time. I can see the thieves logic, absolutely!
