At last I have a group of people who love what I love!!! Škoda !! . I have been driving a 2007 Octavia 1.9 TDI since 2010 and love it.. Reliability, strength rigidity and safety ... Love it! Recently my partner got a 1.6 TDI Octavia As a company car.... To be honest after driving the new one I actually prefer the older one...more road to steering feel and more of a masculine chunky feel than the newer version.... But still really like the newer version all the same!!! Although.... The 2007 1.9 TDI ism much quicker to react than the newer 2013 model ... Even though it's only 1.6 I would have expected a lot more punch and quicker reaction times. Ps: my friend bought a škoda superb in 2012 (under my advice) and totally loves it... He was looking at Merc c200 but decided on the superb.... When he visits us our driveway looks like a škoda showroom with 2 Octavias and a superb on it !!!! Anyway... There is my intro rant over with !!! Look forward to many chats, advice and fellow banter with my new fellow škoda owners !!!
