Won't to go view a seat leon 1.9 tdi pd105 2006 mk2 on Saturday coming how do I know if it has a dpf or not the reg of the car is GF06GHJ if anyone can help me I belive it is the euro emision 4 engine

I may be wrong but i thought the only pd engines fitted with a dpf was the vrs models.

I'm not 100% it's pd but as it's deisel and vag group I'm guessing it is

Im sure all the 1.9's fitted to the mk2  are pd's.

A 2006 diesel Leon with the 1.9 diesel engine should not have a DPF, and it will be a PD engine. None of the 1.9PD engines in the Octavia had a DPF, only a select few 2.0PDs had them (Scout and vRS diesel).

    When you start the ignition look for the wee orange light that looks like an exhaust half filled with marbles.  If it doesn't have the warning light, I would be surprised if it had a DPF.
