OE is still working after 14 years here lol. Started car cold today having only turned it around and put it off and back on drive for last few days to work on it or move out of way to wash drive. Started almost instantly lol the plot thickens drove it up the road then a few hours later got in to go back and took about 3 turns before it fired up and not overly fast turns either but not dead slow.

My battery did indeed get dispatched but having called up to get some tracking info I was told it should be delivered here between 8am and 6pm today (why I am stuck hanging around at the house like a knob. But when I put the tracking info in, it says it was collected last night but 16 minutes later it was updated with a message saying merely "delayed". Perhaps they have worked out it's a battery lol :D

Finally it arrived! Very happy with the shop being happy to send here, not as impressed with UK mail who after 14 minutes of taking it booked it into the nearest depot and left it there for 2 days. :(

It was well packaged too!

Old one still had one of it's transit bungs in and was a 70ah black varta, nbot sure if that was the ones that came from factory?

**Edit** googled the part number on it and it would seem it is the original, not bad well into it's 14th year. I started car to flip it on drive as it was raining the wrong way, changed battery and then when I started it again it did turn a little faster but nothing dramatic LOL looks like there is still life in the old one yet.

Plain black and varta are usually the OE ones from factory.  A good innings I think.

Keep the original as a spare, charge it up
