Cd multichanger

Featured Replies

I'm looking to upgrade to the vag cd multichanger for the standard symphony CD player in my vrs.

Seen plenty on eBay was just wondering if there are any adapters or convertors I need and how straight forward a job it is?

I've got a 6CD changer going begging if you need one. I think it's doable with a cheap aftermarket lead from the bay.

Sweet, that would be great! How much you want for it? Think it looks relatively straight forward to do. Any idea of what sort of lead I would possibly need?

It needs the cable that runs under the passenger from seat to work iirc. Not sure about an aftermarket example but genuine ones are selling well, even second hand items.

Cable, brackets, removal of the "under-passenger-seat" storage cubby (CDC from factory moves this to the drivers side.... "Under-passenger-seat" trim thingy instead to allow access to the CDC magazine etc.

Personally, it's easier to get an Xcarlink or Connects2 or similar....

Unless you really want a CD changer, you'd be far better off with a Connects2 and hooking up an MP3 player as it's a lot of faff to fit one properly.

Yeah I'm thinking it's probably a better option going for the Connects2, seems less hassle in the long run.
