Milltek to down pipe tfsi

Featured Replies

Will a Catback milltek fit against a NON milltek 3"downpipe?

Not sure in all honesty but I know the pipeworx downpipe they ask if it's fitting to a standard cat back or aftermarket so I pressume there's slight differences, possibly contact the downpipe manufacturer and ask if they k ow of any differences?

I think it will but your going to need a connecting pipe because the Downpipe is 3" and the Catback is only 2.75"

Is there no 3" cat back available? As I'd prefer a full 3" all through anyway

I think APR is the only 3" TBE.

My vRS is running a 3" Pipewerx downpipe mated up to a Milltek cat-back exhaust. I had to get the downpipe cut / modified and a section of 3" piping adapated to enable it to fit the Millteak exhaust due to the difference between the 2.5" standard section on the Pipewerx (as it attaches to a standard exhaust) and the 2.75" diameter Milltek connecting section.

I've got a Jetex 3" turbo back and its a been great. You can either fit it to your standard downpipe or chop the reducer off and mate it to a 3" downpipe like I did and just use a 3" pipe connector
