Skoda/Seat/VW

Featured Replies

I just wanted to give you a brief account of why I chose the Skoda Citigo over the others. We have bought 3 Volkswagens (including 2 VW Ups over the last five years) from our local dealers Sinclairs about five miles away. Last year they moved location to a swish new one with Mercedes and Audi about 15 miles on the other side of Swansea. Our local dealers then became a Seat/Skoda dealer. What has made me pick a Skoda is not brand loyalty but the importance of a local service.

In addition to this the deal I got on my Citigo is pretty amazing as I was able to negotiate between the Seat and the Skoda guys at the same time. Spent nearly two hours there in and out of each dealer while the two salesman tried to better each other's offer! talk about being in a great bargaining position! I ended up getting an Elegance with 3 years free servicing, free white paint and 0% finance for the same as an SE.

What I am trying to say is if you want a Citigo/Up!/Mii or even other badge engineered VAG cars, try all of them as they are now effectively competing to sell you the same cars.

Interesting, and what a cracking deal you've got. The elegance in the white is what I have, and it's an absolute dream of a car.

I test drove the up! but I really didn't like the steering wheel or the tacky gloss black dashboard, I found it migraine inducing.

The Seat Mii is a little overpriced for me, and I really don't like the lights (although I understand they have to do something to make it slightly different from others).

0% finance sold me on my Citigo, and the Greentech Elegance could not be a more perfect car for a young driver like myself.

£0 road tax, low insurance group, 60bhp engine, stop/start technology, great on fuel economy while still having a bit of a sport look to it (Mine has black stripe, rear spoiler, rear diffuser and the Greentech 15mm lowered sports suspension).

Enjoy your car, although I'm sure you will.

They are certainly very light on all the controls and easy to drive. The up piano black is not to my taste either.
