Anyone recommend a specific 5v USB header that can be wired in extended from the radio part of loom or something ?

Got a device that I can't be arsed with doing the cigarette socket each turn on and off.

 

Loads on ebay etc but I'd like to make sure to get something fairly standard that has no risk of setting fire to the car etc !

There are GPT ones without a socket but also this kind which may be better retrofitting into a empty skoda button ?

I spotted a number of Y lead type ones on eBay. 12V bare wires into "buck" blob, into 2x1-1.5A 5V USBs.

That would seem to eliminate most possibilities for angst/fires etc.

Cheers bud, only thing I'd add to it is a fuse or just ensure its on the already fused end of the radio (accessory) power
