The throttle on my AUB (1.4 16v) has dropped. It's about an inch off the floor, and briefly holds revs when you let off. It's also a hell of a lot slower. Was told it could be sensor or throttle bodies. But I did a basic vagcom scan and it's come up with two codes for the ignition coil which I don't know if it has anything to do with it.. Any ideas what's wrong?

Sounds like the return spring has broken, take it out and fix it!

 

Replace your coil pack, plugs and leads.
